GhoreBazar entrepreneurs launch fashion brand Tabaya
The entrepreneurs behind GhoreBazar, one of the country's popular e-commerce and safe food platforms, have launched a new lifestyle and fashion brand called "Tabaya".
Built on the values of modesty, aesthetics and contemporary taste, the brand aims to present modest fashion in a more premium and widely acceptable form.
As the majority of Bangladesh's population is Muslim, there has long been growing appreciation for Islamic cultural influences, as well as Middle Eastern and Arabic-inspired clothing styles and modest lifestyles.
With this vision in mind, "Tabaya" has introduced a clothing line that balances modesty, comfort, practicality and modern aesthetics.
The collection includes premium-quality traditional panjabis, as well as thobes, Kabli panjabis, abayas and other modest wear.
Each garment is crafted under the supervision of professional designers and skilled artisans to ensure international-standard finishing and comfort.
Through modern cuts, minimalist designs and premium fabric selection, "Tabaya" is working to establish a distinct identity in the local fashion industry.
The brand also plans to reach customers across the country through a combination of online and offline platforms.
Speaking about the initiative, Tabaya Founder and GhoreBazar Managing Director Jamshed Mojumder said, "We had been planning to do something meaningful in modest fashion for quite some time. Over the past year, we experimented extensively with design, fabric, fit and materials. Finally, ahead of this year's Eid-ul-Adha, we officially launched Tabaya."
"Tabaya is not just a clothing brand; it is an initiative to present modesty, culture, trust and a quality lifestyle together," he added.
"Our journey is about making modest fashion more elegant, comfortable and globally relevant while aligning with the tastes of the modern generation," he further said.
Currently, "Tabaya" operates through its official Facebook page and website.
