DIU retains 1001–1200 band in QS world rankings
Daffodil International University (DIU) has maintained its spot in the 1001–1200 band globally in the QS World University Rankings 2027.
According to a press release, DIU ranked second among private universities and fourth overall, across public and private universities, in Bangladesh.
The QS World University Rankings evaluate institutions using indicators such as academic reputation, employer reputation, research impact, internationalisation, faculty strength, sustainability, and global engagement.
DIU stated that its position reflects sustained investment in academic development, research, innovation, graduate employability, and international collaboration.
The university acknowledged the contributions of faculty, visiting professors, researchers, students, employees, alumni, industry partners, international collaborators, and well-wishers.
It said these collective efforts strengthened the university's global profile.
DIU reiterated its commitment to education, research, innovation, international collaboration, and social impact.
DIU has also secured a position in the US News Best Global Universities Rankings 2026–27.
In this ranking, DIU ranked second among private universities, fourth in Bangladesh, 366th in Asia, and 1,061st globally, the university said.
