Daffodil University win AMA Coffee Campus Futsal 2026
Daffodil International University clinched the AMA Coffee Campus Futsal 2026 title after defeating Shanto-Mariam University of Creative Technology in the final at the Mirpur Shaheed Suhrawardy Indoor Stadium on 30 June.
The three-day tournament brought together 32 private universities from Dhaka, creating a competitive platform for young players to showcase their talent, teamwork and sportsmanship.
Organised by AMA Coffee, the tournament featured 16 knockout matches from 28 June, drawing thousands of young supporters to the stadium.
The Bangladesh Football Federation extended full support to the event, helping ensure that the matches were conducted smoothly and professionally.
The final was broadcast live on GTV, taking the celebration beyond the stadium to viewers across the country.
At the prize-giving ceremony, champions Daffodil International University received Tk5 lakh, while runners-up Shanto-Mariam University of Creative Technology received Tk2 lakh.
Individual awards for Best Goalkeeper, Top Scorer and Most Valuable Player were also presented to the standout performers of the tournament.
Brigadier General Mohammed Mamun (retired), Executive Director of Abul Khair Group, and Fahad Karim, Vice-President of Bangladesh Football Federation, attended the ceremony, along with other senior officials of the federation.
Before the final, the stadium hosted a light show, a flash mob performance, and live music, turning the event into a broader celebration of youth and campus culture.
The tournament followed weeks of promotional activities, including campus tours, jersey reveals and trophy tours.
By bringing together 32 universities, hundreds of players and thousands of supporters, AMA Coffee Campus Futsal 2026 highlighted the growing enthusiasm for university-level football in Bangladesh.
