CRC-ICSB celebrates Chartered Secretary Day 2026
The Chattogram Regional Chapter (CRC) Sub-Committee of the Institute of Chartered Secretaries of Bangladesh (ICSB) celebrated Chartered Secretary Day 2026 at the ICSB Chattogram Branch Office on 16 June, 2026.
The programme was held at Golden Plaza (Level-5), 1692 CDA Avenue, East Nasirabad, Chattogram.
The day marks the enactment of the Chartered Secretaries Act, 2010, which granted the chartered secretary profession in Bangladesh formal recognition and an institutional framework.

The occasion was marked by a cake-cutting ceremony and a reminiscence session.
Md Delowar Hossain FCS, Chairman of CRC-ICSB, delivered the welcome address and greeted the guests, members and students present at the event.
Among others, Md Riajul Hoque Sikder FCS, Co-Chairman of CRC-ICSB; Rajib Saha FCS; Mohammed Abu Salam FCS; and Md Siddiqur Rahman ACS, members of CRC-ICSB, attended the programme.
A number of students from the ICSB Chattogram Branch also joined the celebration.
Participants highlighted the role of chartered secretaries in strengthening corporate governance, ensuring regulatory compliance, promoting ethical business practices and supporting sustainable organisational growth.
They also reflected on ICSB's journey and achievements over the years and expressed hope for its continued progress.
In his concluding remarks, Md Riajul Hoque Sikder thanked all attendees for their participation and support.
