Babuland joins Unicef, health authorities in vitamin A campaign
Babuland has partnered with UNICEF Bangladesh, city corporations, the Directorate General of Health Services and the Expanded Programme on Immunisation Bangladesh to provide free Vitamin A capsules to children.
The campaign was carried out across participating Babuland branches in Dhaka and Narayanganj to support child nutrition and health.
It was held on 28 June at all participating Babuland branches except Mirpur-2, and on 29 June at the Mirpur-2 branch.
Under the campaign, blue Vitamin A capsules were administered to children aged 6 to 11 months, while red Vitamin A capsules were provided to children aged 12 months to 4 years, 11 months, and 29 days.
The capsules were distributed from 3pm to 10pm at designated Babuland branches on the scheduled campaign dates.
Babuland said the initiative reflects its commitment to building a healthier and safer generation.
"Our goal is to ensure that every eligible child receives this essential nutritional support. At Babuland, we believe that healthy children build a healthy Bangladesh," the company said.
Founded in May 2018, Babuland aims to create safe, active, and joyful play spaces for children in Bangladesh.
The company, which started with a 6,000-square-foot indoor playground in Mirpur-2, now operates 21 branches in Dhaka, Chattogram, Narayanganj and Cumilla.
Babuland said it continues to support children's physical, mental and social development by providing safe and engaging play experiences for families.
The company thanked Brigadier General Imrul Kayes Chowdhury, Chief Health Officer of Dhaka North City Corporation, and Dr Mahmuda Ali and Dr Nishat Parveen of the corporation for their cooperation with the initiative.
