28th AGM of Base Textiles held
The company declared a 2% cash dividend for all the general shareholders for FY20
Base Textiles Limited, a textile manufacturer in Bangladesh, hosted its 28th annual general meeting (AGM) on Wednesday.
The meeting was held at the CDA Industrial Area in Kalurghat, Chattogram, said a press statement on Thursday.
The company declared a 2% cash dividend for all the general shareholders for the fiscal year that ended on 30 June 2020.

In the meeting, Managing Director Md Hasan Shibli delivered a speech on the company's financial statement and future business strategy.
Directors S M Jamal Uddin and Ishrat Jahan Chowdhury, Vice Chairman Engr Monower Shahaat Shovon, Company Secretary and CFO Shimul Baran Sharma and a number of shareholders were present in the meeting.
The company's Chairperson Sidratul Muntaha presided over the AGM.
All the agendas of the 28th AGM were passed and approved unanimously.
