Police, quoting locals, said two young men went to the outlet around 5:30pm to buy the book and the employees Aminul Islam and Humayun Kabir brought out a copy. The men then objected to its sale, claiming it was banned.
They gathered several other people from the area, pulled down the outlet's shutter and locked it. The two employees were detained at the same time, police added.
