Two crude bombs explode beneath Malibagh flyover
Bombs were thrown onto main road near Rail Gate
Two crude bombs exploded on the main road near Malibagh Rail Gate in the capital today (18 September) after being thrown from the flyover, police said.
The bombs landed on the road and went off at around 3pm, confirmed Shahjahanpur Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Amirul Islam.
"Two crude bombs were thrown from the three-storey flyover at around 3pm. They fell onto the road and exploded," he told TBS.
Police are working to identify those responsible for the incident, the OC said.
No further details about casualties or property damage were immediately available.
