Dengue claims one more life as 546 hospitalised in 24hrs
The country has recorded 44 dengue deaths and 13,644 cases so far this year, according to DGHS data.
One person has died of dengue and 546 new patients have been hospitalised across Bangladesh in the last 24 hours, according to the latest dengue situation report.
The information was disclosed in a press release issued today (27 July) by the Health Emergency Operation Centre and Control Room of the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).
The latest death was reported in the Barishal division, raising the total number of dengue-related fatalities this year to 44.
During the same period, 540 dengue patients were discharged from hospitals, taking the total number of recoveries so far this year to 12,477.
The country has recorded 13,644 dengue cases since the beginning of the year, according to the DGHS data.
