Bodies of three family members recovered in Bagerhat
Police suspects the three may have been murdered days ago
Police have recovered the decomposed bodies of three members of the same family from their home in Bagerhat's Kachua upazila today (4 August).
The deceased were identified as Ahad Howlader, 28, his mother Monira Begum, 52, and his grandmother Rashida Begum, 85.
The bodies were recovered from their home in the Paschim Chanderkhola area of Raripara union in the afternoon, confirmed Bagerhat Superintendent of Police Hasan Mohammad Naser Rikabdar.

According to police and local sources, a neighbour, Bulu Begum, detected a foul smell coming from the house and later discovered the decomposed bodies inside.
She then informed police.
Being informed, police from Kachua Police Station went to the scene and recovered the bodies.
The Police Superintendent Naser Rikabdar said the bodies bore injury marks on their heads, leading investigators to initially suspect the deaths were the result of a homicide.
"We believe the incident took place two to three days ago. As there was little movement around the house, the matter went unnoticed for several days," he said.
The bodies are being sent for autopsy to determine the exact cause of death, he said.
Multiple law enforcement agencies, including the district police, the Detective Branch (DB) and the Police Bureau of Investigation (PBI), have launched separate investigations to uncover the motive behind the killings and identify those responsible.
